Xaviro Jokhoe

I’ve been giving my friends and family free tech advice since I was 10 and worked with Tax departments of listed multinationals almost as long. Combining two passions in the way I'm able is a true privilege. My field of work is something I love and one I am excited to share.

My Passions & Personality.

Seeking to be inspired, to envision the unlikely, to work hard for things that are worth it and to be surrounded by those who bring out the best in me.

I live in Rotterdam (Netherlands), I like cappuccino, visited over 40 countries, my favorite number is 2, not a huge fan of IPAs, I play video games like it's my life, when I'm focused I always roll-up my sleeves, my favorite food is pasta, I love good and smart design, have an interest in American Football and I broke my right arm twice. I started programming when I was 10 (MS-DOS) and got my interest for Tax after receiving my very first paycheck back in high school. Determining how to make a process more efficient, has always been a key part of who I am. Knowledge of IT expanded my possibilities.

I have almost nine years experience working in tax management consultancy and assisting in-house tax teams of multinationals clients. 2021 - 2022 Cargill - EMEA Lead for Direct tax technology, responsible for Tax Technology (Reporting) Vision & Architecture. Process implementation lead for various SAP ERP systems, ensuring corporate income tax, transfer pricing, withholding tax & functional tax requirements are implemented correctly. Lead in Direct Tax Technology playbooks which set the standard for global roll-outs. Lead in Segmented P&L automation project. SME in various local tax technology project for example: Russia "Nalog-3", UK Making Tax Digital, Romania SAF-T for Direct tax, Germany E-Balance.

2012 - 2021 Deloitte - Started my internship and first years on the Tax Accounting & Compliance department. Moved to Tax Management Consulting to focus on designing and implementing tax technology. My goal is to increase the quality of data and controls, thus reducing efforts during financials closings and tax filings.

2018 - 2020 Flamingo.report - Created a Start-up company in real estate data with the mission to gather all the insights regarding a property and their surroundings. Recorded in KPMG's Real Estate Innovation overview & Won PROVADA Real Estate Start-up Pitch!

2011 - 2012 KPMG Meijburg & Co. - I’ve worked at the tax department assisting with corporate tax/transfer pricing advice. In addition I started here with research for my thesis regarding the influence of currency translation results on the Dutch participation exemption.

2011 - 2011 Belastingdienst - During my time with the tax authorities I had the opportunity to learn about the organization itself as well as the working environment. My tasks consisted of assisting natural persons in the preparation of their personal income tax returns.

Professional experience.

I like to think big, but I’m pragmatic in my day-to-day work and can take fast decisions on what needs to be done in the short term.

Professionally I get my drive either from creating something clients actually benefit from or by creating something that has never been done before (ideally both).

While Direct tax technology is the core of my expertise, experience in change and project management round out my perspective. I have experience managing multi-stakeholder implementation projects and am able to adapt to lead different team structures to success.
